Born in KINGSTON, JAMAICA on November 28, 1977 of Karol and Oliver Jobson, Kris Craig Jobson started the performing arts at the age of six. At ten years of age Kris joined the Jamaican Musical Theatre Company and the next four years he performed in CATS and ALADDIN.

At thirteen Kris moved on to the “Little People Company” and performed his first tour at the age of fourteen with an original musical that traveled and played throughout the US, UK, Canada and the Caribbean. At fifteen Kris joined the prestigious Ashe Caribbean Performing Arts Ensemble. Kris also graduated from high school at the age of fifteen and was also a member of The National Jamaican School of Dance. Kris completed College at the age of sixteen and went to NEW YORK.

In New York Kris auditioned for The Tisch School Of the Arts at New York University and at seventeen attended NYU Tisch on scholarship for the next 3 and one half years. He graduated with honors and was on the Dean’s list. During Kris’s last year at NYU Tisch. During Kris’s last year at NYU Tisch the famed choreographer David Allen contacted him for a lead role in his ballet. Kris is a graduate from Dance of Harlem, Alvin Ailey and The Joffery Ballets chools.

A New York ha fatto le audizioni per la Tisch School of the Arts New York University e a diciassette anni ha ottenuto una borsa di studio per la NYU Tisch per i 3 anni e mezzo successivi. Los Angeles

In L.A.Kris appeared in “Hollywood Unveiled” a Rock Musical at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles directed by the award winning Michael Rooney. While performing at the El Rey Theatre Kris was signed by the established company Athena Talent Management located in Beverly Hills and Italy. Kris’s second job was also at the El Rey Theater and was the Rock Musical “Carnival” with MYO Dance Company. Kris went to Hawaii to act the role of Billy in the musical production of Billy the Kid. Later that year Kris performed the role of Jesus Christ in the original play “The Rose and The Cross” directed by Jeffrey Gunter Anderson. He was the Wolf in Peter and the Wolf followed by a few videos, commercials and a role on The Bold and the Beautiful. Then came The Lion King at the Pantages Theatre as a principle dancer.

What happened next was a creatively inspired move to Europe. Immediately upon his arrival in Italy, Kris was hired by Ballandi Productions to tour with "Torno Sabato"-the number one TV show of the year on RAIUNO Prima Serata, Sabato Sera, then " La Bella e La Bestia"( Beauty and the Beast) followed by a stint at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples for the renowned Roland Petit as a Guest Performer in “The Duke Ellington Ballet” which he performed again a few months later in Tokyo, Japan.. In Rome he performed in Ballandi Production’s “Sognando Las Vegas”.

In 2003 Kris was hired by Lorenzo Vitali’s L’Artistica Musical Theatro in Pavia, Italy for the lead role of Leroy in David De Silva’s “FAME”. After a few weeks rehearsal for “FAME” Kris traveled to Toyko where he once again guest starred in Roland Petit’s “Duke Ellington Ballet. Back to Pavia and the opening of “Fame” September 18, 2003 at the Teatro Fraschini to a full house and seven standing ovations. “FAME” – The Musical began touring October 10, 2003 to the cities of Udine, Florence, Bologna, Genova, and many others. Immediately after “FAME” Kris joined the National Italian Tour of Renato Zero in Milan, Rome, Florence and Verona where Kris performed as a principle dancer with nightly audiences of 70,000.

In 2005, Kris was the face for the campaign for “Killer Loop” sunglasses by Ray Ban. Kris modeled for the designer Calvin Klein , Timberland, Verri and Seven Jeans, in the Milan fashion season. Rai Uno Television show “Ma il Cielo é SemprePiu Blu” with an audience of millions of viewers. Kris was chosen for the National Italian TV commercial as one of the faces of 'Dixi San Carlo' Potato chips. In addition Kris has received offers for The Lion King National Tour in the USA, The Norway National Jazz Company and The Broadway Show Aida. In 2007 and 2008 Kris was one of the international stars of the show ‘Ambrosia’ in Berlin, Germany. Since Kris has been living and working in Europe he has acquired Italian, German and French. After extensive study in voice Kris is writing music and laying tracks as he enters into the Universal World of Music.

Kris Jobson recently finished filming the TV show "Il Ballo Delle Debuttanti" with the production company 'FASCINO' for Canale 5.
